You can also provide them with post-exposure measles vaccine within 72 hours of getting exposed to the virus. Babies can also do well with the help of immune serum globulin which provides antibodies to their body. Measles treatment for adults: Keep yourself hydrated and get plenty of rest if you are infected with measles. Take a healthy diet to boost your immunity. Take help of vitamin A supplements to do it better. Use acetaminophen or ibuprofen to reduce fever. Use a humidifier to get relief from caught and sore throat. Measles vaccination and post-exposure measles vaccinationboth the options are also available for the adults. Immune serum globulin is also effective with adults.
